Not happy with Utilikilt right now....
I decided that enough was enough... 2 weeks after my credit card being charged.. and no kilt on the way..with no ETA of when it might be on the way..that's complete bullshit.. I emailed Utilikilt and told them to give me my money back..

Don't get me wrong... I love my Utilikilts... I really do.. but 2 weeks.. no kilt even on  the way?? it would have been one thing if I had ordered a kilt on the phone knowing the kilt was out of stock.. or even ordering online knowing it was out of stock... but to be told not only by the website that it was in stock, but by HIROSHI at Utilikilts that it was going to be shipped that day... and then told opps... bummer, it's not in stock after all.. that kind sucks. When I asked HIROSHI  if there was any updates I was told "So far, no luck. I have not seen many come in from Production in the past two week."    2 WEEKS?? and nothing from production?? I've worked at places that would FIRE everyone for not producing something for 2 fucking weeks. 

Will I order from Utilikilts in the future... I don't know... right now I'd have to say that the answer is no... unless they can get their shit together. There are plenty of other kilt makers out there that make products as good as UK.. some even better... hell my wife makes a better kilt.. might just spend that money on a lot of fabric and tell her to go nuts.

(note.. I had to initiate the emails with them, they wouldn't have said a thing if I didn't ...and I had to ask for an update..not cool)

call the bank/lending agency/credit card company and tell them what happened. they will put a stop payment and (should) reverse the charges. just be nice when you do it, or they'll pretty much tell you to piss off.

that'll be my next step IF they don't refund the money themselves.. I've been nothing but nice with any emails I've had back and forth with them...and I don't intend on being anything but nice... until I'm given a reason to not be nice...

with this scenerio, i'd already have that reason..then again, when people try and screw with my money, family, and/or livelyhood - i have a short fuse.

keep us updated man - if they fuck with you, i will NOT become a customer..

to bad that Utilikilts has my money... so it wouldn't even matter if that dealer had one in stock..I';ll give them a call tomorrow and check, but somehow I doubt they have one..or could even help me out.

while it's great that there are dealers across the country.. if the company can't meet the demand for the customers and the dealers, what good is it.

now... there is this real nice Hemp fabric I have been looking at.. a Kilt made out of that would kick some serious ass... www.hempbasics.com

or a nice dark green suede cloth..that would totally rock as well..and it'd match my dark green suede cloth cloak...
